Post-Study Work Permit in New Zealand
International students who wish to apply for a post-study work permit in New Zealand must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed coursework for a Level 7 degree, or
- Must have completed non-degree coursework below Level 7, although the degree must be on the list of qualifications required for a post-study work visa.
- If using the non-degree Level 7 option for application, it would be required to have a job linked to the fields of study.
Even if their qualifications are not specified on the list of requirements for eligibility for a post-study work visa, applicants who submitted for their student visa on or before May 11, 2022, will be eligible for a post-study employment permit in New Zealand.
